What's Happening?
The arts can be expensive to take in, but if you are a teen between the ages of 13-19, you can sign up for a free TeenTix pass. This pass will get you into movies, music, theatre, dance, visual art, and more for just $5. This organization was the winner of the 2014 Seattle Mayor's Arts Award for future focus. While most of the venues are in the greater Seattle area, it is well worth the trip up. Some venues also offer companion tickets on Sundays, so share the arts with a friend. You can also check out a free museum passes at Tacoma Public or Pierce County Libraries. Partnering museums are the Museum of Glass, Tacoma Art Museum and Washington State History Museum.

12:00 – 3:00pm for Woodwinds, Brass, and Percussion
High school musicians will receive hands on coaching to help prepare their WMEA All-State recordings. Flute Coach: Jennifer Rhyne
Registration will be capped at 20 participants on each instrument, first come first served. This is an excellent way to get professional coaching for all students, especially for those who are not currently studying privately.
